Why Did I Make This?

What gave me the idea to make such an amazing deck such as this?

I made this deck because in my Kickstarter booster boxes, I was lucky enough to pull *2* 'Iconic Other' Overwatch Cards, and I just couldn't let them sit in a binder and go to waste.

RULES TEXT:

][QUICK][ + 1€$ + Spend This Unit:

Discard 1. You may defeat a spent rival Unit with cost equal to or less than the discarded card's cost.

This card requires 4 Green RAM to be in your deck.

This card costs 4 Eddies to play, and gives the equipped unit +4 Power

Why did I put Red in here though?

At first I was thinking yellow, because there are a lof of good yellow gears out there that could fit nicely into pretty much any deck, but for 2x Yellow RAM there aren't many programs available.
Now, there are a lot of good Yellow Units out there that can be played under these constraints, but I wanted to shop around before I committed.
I decided that I wasn't going to look at Blue, because of it's anti-synergy with Overwatch, due to the low average card cost of Blue Programs and Units, as well as Blue gears being pretty week outside of control decks.
Red has a lot of cheap gear to buff units, and it has some useful blockers such as Meredith and La Llorona.
I don't actually have much of a reason other than I wanted to use red tbh.

Win Condition & Strategy

Spend enemy units and fight them, or kill units by discarding any cards you don't want when you have overwatch out, or using your own removal programs. Hit the gig zone with 10+ units when you can, not much can take them down so don't worry about their safety.
Don't forget to bear in mind card advantage. Don't waste too many cards to get rid of a single unit. Use units (cards already played) if you have gig advantage (or an easy way to gain gig advantage, such as a 10+ unit). Corpo Surveillance + WITS is a -1 unless the enemy unit has gear or is an immdediate issue towards you winning because of blocker or something. If you use Alt for WITS then it becomes a -2 because you've used 3 of your cards to take down one of theirs. Wasting resources is how you lose.

Edit History

UPDATE: The text below is outdated but I'm keeping it here anyway as an important historical artefact. I did make those changes to the deck, as you could probably tell.
I am thinking now that I should maybe thin the deck even further and remove detonate, but I do have to keep my unit to eddie ratio high so perhaps not.

-------

As you're reading this, you might notice that there is a huge variety of cards in this deck. I am considering, at the moment, removing Industrial Assembly and replacing it with an extra set of Mantis Blades and Satori.
If I go through with that I might also go along and remove swordwise huscle and up Meredith Stout and Chrome Fang.
Part of me thinks that this deck could also do with having Wild In The Streets in it. I have a lot of cards that spend units so they're open to removal from Overwatch, but that would also make them open to WITS. I guess having Overwatch makes WITS obsolete at the same time though.
Sandevistan might actually go better in this deck than Satori in order to better protect my Overwatch Unit(s) and it would also go well on Meredith.

Other Information

Detonate can fuck up your whole strategy easily. So can Les Elemens and Wild In The Streets. Anything that targets your strong units or the unit you have overwatch equipped on.
If your opponent has a bad poker face you could try some removal with Shattered Memories, but this can also be countered by Alt (Legend) who can cast those types of removal programs from trash for an extra eddie. They might not be willing to do that, but with a unit like pepe on the field they might be able to go at you with him to get Alt's discount and trash cast.

Other cards to consider are Johnny Silverhand as opposed to MaxTac Heavy. I don't have enough of him last time I checked, but I think Johnny is better in every circumstance over MaxTac Heavy. Other than cost I suppose, but if the enemy has a lot of units, Johhny feels like a much more appropriate response.
